Over the last week there have been some happenings in world celeb and today I thought I’d do a round up of some of the celebrity scoop I have been keeping up with.
Looks like there is going to be a new mouth to feed in a few moths at the Jersey Shore. It’s been confirmed that our favorite (or not so favorite) meatball (named by herself I did not make that up) is reproducing. Snooki and her beau of 2 years Jionni, are indeed bringing a little guido/guidette into this world. Snooki isn’t known for making the smartest of choices, but I hope this helps her to grow up and put those childish and drunken ways behind her. They are also “officially” engaged, though rumors have been swirling for sometime. Here’s best wishes to the new little family.
Fairly new engaged star, Jessica Biel, is making sure to stay in tip top shape while preparing for her upcoming nuptials. While they have been known for their on again off again status it seems JT and JB are happy and in it for good this time. Or lets hope so anyways. I’m always confused by celebs who break up and then all of the sudden are announcing their engagement. Is it real or is it for publicity, no matter as long as they are happy more power to them.
Dr. Carlisle Cullen may be happily married to his long time mate in Twilight but it doesn’t seem so for his real life counterpart, Peter Facinelli and long time love Jennie Garth. The two who met in 1996 and married in 2001 are divorcing. I will admit this one made me sad to read. I thought they looked so great together and seemed to be one of those down to earth Hollywood couples. I had high hopes for them. They have 3 girls together and ultimately that is who will be very affected by this. Divorce is never easy but when there are kids involved it makes it that much harder. I just hope this didn’t have anything to do with his sudden rise to fame because of the Twilight films.
On a completely different note, American Idol contestant, Jemaine Jones has been eliminated from the show. He was not forthcoming about some issues (and warrants) he had. Deemed the gentle giant of the show this disappointed me. I loved his Marvin Gaye style voice but unfortunately the past that he wasn’t up front about came back to haunt him. Do any of the contestants watch previous seasons, because we’ve all seen this happen before. If there is something in your past you are not being up front about then chances are you NEED to be upfront about it because it will come back to haunt you.

Yes, it seems like every year on Idol someone is disqualified for one reason or another!
I’m happy for Snooki. Away from the Jersey Shore she seems like a really down to earth and nice person…. who likes to drink a lot. But I’ve also heard that going out to party every night is in their contract so they have to do it.
I had no idea Jeanne Garth married the Twilight guy. That’s so sad they are divorcing after all these years and 3 girls.

I was sad about Jennie Garth’s divorce too! I was (AM–ha ha) obsessed with 90210 and in every article I’ve read about her since then, her family life seemed so nice and normal. It’s sad when anyone gets a divorce, but with the Hollywood ones, usually you can see them coming for a looong time–not this one!
